How many of us moms start planning for our kids’ birthdays months in advance? Especially those milestone birthdays! Every year we celebrate Elijah’s birthday; whether it’s a small intimate outing with just Elijah, his dad, and I; or a fun outing with family and friends at an indoor playground. We always want to make sure we celebrate the day he came into our lives. Well, Elijah is turning 5 this December! I know, that’s over 6 months away. And despite the pandemic and all the other craziness going on in the world, I already know that I want to do something big this year.

I’m already working on a good theme that we haven’t done yet. I’m thinking “The Lion King”. But, we shall see. Of course when it’s time to throw a party, we go looking online for all of the best party decorations; from cute banners and birthday cakes – to fun invitations and thank you cards. Basically, we look for anything we can find with the party theme!! It’s all so exciting!
Well, with all this surfing on the internet, I stumbled upon some cute party invitations from Basic Invite. Now, normally I do the typical millennial thing, and send online invitations. But, Basic Invite has convinced me to go the traditional route this year, and actually send out party invitations in the mail!

There are a few things about Basic Invite that stuck out for me.
Unlimited color combinations
You can change the color of each element on a card, with over 180 different colors to pair. The card can be exactly how you want it, down to the smallest detail!

Custom samples
Basic Invite actually allows customers to order printed samples of their invitations so that they can get a full vision of how the stationary will look and feel before you place a final order.

Free address collection service
When you create an account, you’ll be able to set up an address book to store all of your friends and family’s addresses. Simply share the link on social media and let your guests type in their address. Basic Invite will input all that data onto your envelopes, so you don’t have to fill them out when they arrive. All you have to do is stick on that stamp and mail them out. How easy is that?

There are tons of beautiful styles of birthday party invitation cards, including the milestones (1st birthday, 18th birthday, 21st birthday, 50th birthday party invitation, and so on). And, of course they have that lion theme that I wanted as well!
I can’t wait to order Elijah’s birthday party invitations!!! They’re going to be so good, and his party is going to be grand!
Basic Invite gave me a discount code to share with you to get 15% off your first order. Use Code: 15FF51. They’ve got you covered for every occasion: weddings, graduation, baby, birthday party, events, stationery, business cards.
