Over the past couple years, I’ve come to know and love Zara! Their clothes are classy, chic and for the most part, pretty good quality. I know that when I purchase their pieces, I’m going to have them for a long time. I will admit though that their clothes are a little on the pricier side. But, you get what you pay for right?
Which is why I get super excited around this time of the year. Towards the middle of June, Zara usually starts their semi-annual sale. So, all of those pieces that you’ve been wanting for the last few months, but didn’t want to pay that price for, will now possibly be on sale. The first time I shopped the Zara sale, I went a little crazy with my purchases. I was just buying stuff just because it was on sale; Even if it wasn’t really my style. Of course, I didn’t realize that I had wasted my money until later.
So, the next go round of the sale, I decided to do my research and ask some of my favorite Zara connoisseurs. Here are a few tips that they provided for shopping the Zara Sale, along with my own tips.

Shop Classic Pieces
This was a lesson that I learned on my own. As I previously stated, my first go ’round shopping the Zara sale was one filled with super trendy pieces that weren’t even my style. I was definitely caught up in the hype of the sale, and hadn’t really thought it through.
I asked one of my favorite bloggers how she shopped the sale, and she gave me some good advice. She stated that you should shop classic pieces and basics. Pick up pieces like blazers, denim, trench coats, plain tops, cardigans, and maybe even solid colored dresses and jumpsuits. Basically, get those pieces that are versatile, that will last for years in your wardrobe.

If You Wouldn’t Buy It Full Price, Don’t Buy It Now
How many times have you walked straight to the sales rack and picked up items just because they were on sale? I know I’ve done it a thousand times! Even if I didn’t actually love an item, I would purchase it just because it was cheap. Well, we will not continue those bad habits for the Zara sale. When you’re browsing through their sale items, make sure to only throw the items in your cart that you would have purchased even if they weren’t on sale; meaning these items fit your CURRENT wardrobe and style. If you wouldn’t have purchased it yesterday when it was $100 (because you didn’t love it), don’t purchase it today just because it’s $29.99.

Don’t Get Bamboozled By The First Week Sale
I know it’s hard y’all. But, don’t give in to the first wave of the sale. From what I was researching (and have seen with my own eyes), the first wave of sale items are discounted at about 10%-25% off. But, the second and third wave of the sale will give you some items at 40% to 75% off.
The more an item is in demand, the less the initial discount. But if an item is not in demand, it may go down to 50% or 60% during the first wave. So, if you absolutely can’t wait, just get your stuff. However, if you can hold out a couple weeks, you will get the best sale prices.

Save Your Favorite Pieces in Your Bag Now
I have so many pieces in my bag now from before the sale began. But, you better believe that I’m about to add more. This allows me to keep an eye out on the pieces that I’ve been wanting for a while. When that price drops to what is sufficient for my budget, I will be hitting that “Complete Purchase” button.
I suggest saving the link to the products that you want, because even if they’re sold out, there is a chance that Zara will restock it; or someone will return it.

If you felt like you were the last person to find out about the sale, it’s probably because you weren’t subscribed to Zara’s newsletter. So get on there! Here is the link.
Also, Zara allows you to have your items shipped to their store for free. I love this feature because I can go in their store, pick up my items, and try them on there. If something doesn’t work, I can return it immediately.
That’s it for now y’all!!!
I plan to do a post next week where I will show you a few items in my Zara cart. But, until then HAPPY SHOPPING!

I am excited to see what they have. I never shopped ZARA all the body figure seems to fit the slim, tall or similar shape. Is that the norm?
