We have made it to the last day of the year, and I can’t help but be excited about what’s to come. But, first I wanted to take a moment to do a 2019 Style Review of some of our favorite looks that I created this year. I had so much fun putting this list together; mainly, because it forced me to look back and reflect on the year.
There were definitely some areas that I need to improve on (paying off debt, personal health, etc). But, I’m one of those people who believes that it’s never too late to try again. So, this year (2020) I’m going to continue to work towards being a better me, per usual.
I hope you enjoy this 2019 Style Review of my favorite looks from this year! Check them out below.
The Perfect Pinafore Dress

This dress was perfection – on camera, at least! In real life, it was way too tight! I barely made it through the photoshoot before the front slit of the dress split up wayyyyy higher than it was supposed to be. However, I loved this look so much. And you ladies gave so much positive feedback on this one!
Bold Colors And Prints

I knew this outfit would be a hit because there was so much color and details involved. Every piece in this outfit stood out. From the bright orange wide-leg pants – to the multi-colored accessories, this look was a big win for me!
New, New Dani Smith

I remember this shoot being tough because I had just celebrated my best friend’s birthday the night before, and I felt horrible the next morning. Yet, the show must go on! But, I resolved to never hangout and drink the night before a photoshoot again. I felt so sexy in this outfit though.
A Valentine’s Day Look

The hot pink and black combination is so fly to me! This gorgeous trench is from one of my favorite online boutiques Milan Chanel. Make sure you check them out!
The Hillman College Sweatshirt

I’m so happy that you loved this look because this is definitely my style on a typical day Winter day. It’s too cold to do the most. But, a cute graphic sweatshirt, and a pair of comfy mom jeans will always work. Plus, I loved paying homage to one of my favorite TV shows “A Different World” and my favorite era, the 90’s.
An Unexpected, Yet Fun Photoshoot

I had so much fun shooting at JoJo Stylez’ Powershoot this Summer. I was tapped to model some of her shoes for her StylishLife Brand, and you better believe I was super nervous. But, JoJo did such an amazing job! The photos turned out amazing! It was nice to do something different from my norm.
More Plaid Please

I love my plaid pieces! The great thing about plaid pieces is that they can be remixed so many different ways. So, I decided to throw this duster over this cute button up dress (seen here also). And I added these cute boots from Shoedazzle!
My Personal Style Uniform

The great thing about having a personal style uniform is that most times you won’t have to worry about what you’re going to wear. You will already know what works. And you don’t have to think twice about feeling uncomfortable or worried about your appearance. Now this may take a little time, but once you figure it out, you will save way more time getting dressed than you did in the past.
Floral Print Shorts – Style Challenge

This year, I was able to participate in a few fun style challenges with Priiincesss and Nelle. These shorts were a part of one of our style challenges. This was another colorful look that I had so much fun creating!
The Money Green Romper

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to wear this romper anywhere but in these pictures. However, you better believe that it will get worn a few times this Summer. Plus, how cute is my hair!
And there you have it! My 2019 Style Review! Which ones were your faves?!?! Let me know in the comments below!
